Dear Parents

On behalf of our pupils, staff, governors and friends, I would like to welcome you to Montgomery Junior School and to our website. Montgomery Junior School is strongly committed to providing a high quality education for all of our pupils in a happy and exciting environment.

This website can only give you a flavour of Montgomery Junior School and new children and their parents are recommended to visit the school. The school has a busy but calm working environment with pupils and staff working alongside each other in a wide range of creative and challenging activities. The school has very light and spacious classrooms with stimulating displays throughout the school. Outside, we have a large playground and  extensive field which are used for a wide range of activities.

The calm atmosphere around the school is a result of the importance that we place upon celebrating achievement and showing respect for ourselves, each other and the environment.

As Headteacher, it is my hope that, no matter how short or long your stay in Colchester may be, you and your family will find Montgomery Junior School to be open, friendly and supportive. Visitors are always welcome and I would strongly urge you to contact the school office to arrange a visit.
